TICKETS are selling fast for this year’s eagerly anticipated Himley Bonfire, after last year’s event was cancelled due to the pandemic.
A night market, street entertainers, seasonal refreshments, circus performers and a huge funfair will also be in the park.
Limited tickets for the premium viewing area are still available online, on a first come-first served basis.
This area is next to the hall on the south lawns and has an elevated view of the park and lake and will include additional entertainment.
There are also food and drink vendors including alcoholic beverages which will only be available in this area.
Standard tickets will include access to the main park area, where alcohol will not be on sale, night market and funfair.
Councillor Anne Millward, mayor of Dudley, said: "People can be guaranteed fireworks, fun and entertainment at this year’s Himley Bonfire.
"As a proud Gornal girl, I know all too well how much this means to people in our local community. It feels so good to be back!"
Councillor Shaun Keasey, cabinet member for digital, customer and commercial services, said: "Our event is the largest council-run display in the country and we are preparing for a huge turnout this year.
"I’d like to thank our sponsors and everyone who helping us to prepare for this special event."
