A HALESOWEN youth club is backing a Christmas toy appeal to help youngsters from families who are struggling to make ends meet.
Halesowen North Youth Club, which is based at Coombswood Sports and Social Club, is acting as a drop off point for the Black Country Santa Toy Appeal.
Councillor Stuart Henley, who spearheaded the group said: "We believe we need to do our best for those children who may not get a present at this special time of the year.
"So many families struggle to get a present for the children, many go without or go into debt to purchase them which puts them in a worse position to then have to find the money to pay off the purchase."
Presents can be dropped off at Coombswood Sports and social club on Stewarts Road, Halesowen, (during opening times) and at number 11, Green Lane, Halesowen, during most day time hours.
