A CHILD was hit by a car in Halesowen.
The accident happened on Narrow Lane at 3.42pm yesterday (Tuesday November 30).
The road was closed while emergency services helped the girl, who was taken to Russells Hall Hospital.
The scene is near Hurst Green Primary School.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 3.42pm to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a child on Narrow Lane, Halesowen.
"One ambulance attended the scene.
"On arrival, we found a child, she was assessed and had sustained injuries not believed to be life threatening and was conveyed to Russells Hall Hospital for further assessment.”
It is the second time a child has been hit by a car in Halesowen in two days.
On Monday (November 29) at 4.58pm a six-year-old girl was hit by a car at the junction of Furnace Lane and Newfield Lane.
Police and medics were called and she was taken to the QE Hospital.
