CHRISTMAS came to Leigh Sinton this weekend as the village pub's Christmas lights were switched on.
On December 4, residents held a community get together and lights switch-on at the Royal Oak.
There was even a visit from Father Christmas himself to cheer everyone up.
In addition to the lights, the regular speeding scarecrows were put out to deter motorists from driving too fast through the village.
Cllr Sarah Rouse said: "We want to remind everyone that speeding in the village is not acceptable but remind them in a fun way.
"This year the residents have come together and have tackled speeding, started up a new knit and natter group, made our phone box in to a library and started up a community garden group.
"Celebrating Christmas together is a great way to end a tough year.
"Thanks to all the residents, Branches day centre, the Parish Council and last but not least the Royal Oak."
