A MAN from Dudley has been handed a community order for drink driving.

Joby Coyle of Lea Green Avenue drove a motor vehicle in Sedgley Road, Dudley on November 28 before a breath test showed he consumed 100 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

The 37-year-old drove the car without due care or attention and without a test certificate.

Coyle must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work within the next twelve months and is disqualified from driving for four years.

Dudley magistrates also ordered him to pay £135 in costs and a £95 victim surcharge.

Meanwhile, a man from Cradley has been handed a community order after failing to provide a breath specimen.

On October 28, Ram Lal of Bath Meadow failed to provide a breath specimen during an investigation into whether he committed an offence.

The 53-year-old must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work within the next twelve months and is disqualified from driving for 18 months.

Lal was ordered to pay £135 in costs and a £95 victim surcharge.

A man from Halesowen has been fined for drink driving.

Waheed Oloke of Bournebrook Crescent drove a car on Lye Close Lane on December 4 before a breath test showed he consumed 59 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

The 49-year-old was fined £500 and ordered to pay £135 in costs and a £50 victim surcharge.

He is disqualified from driving for 12 months.

A man from Oldbury has received a community order after using threatening behaviour towards a police officer.

Mohammed Hanif of Hill Road used abusive words or behaviour towards a police officer in Tipton on November 27.

Hanif, aged 49, must carry out 40 hours of unpaid work within the next twelve months.

He was also ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £95 victim surcharge.
