Dr Ian Tait, GP and Clinical Chair of NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire CCG said: “There are a number of walk-in sites available across Herefordshire and Worcestershire this week making it as easy and convenient as possible for people to get protected.

“I’d urge anyone yet to come forward for their first, second or booster vaccination to check where their nearest walk-in sites are so they can get protected now.

“Of course, appointments remain available to book online for those who wish to do so and there are now options for quiet hours and women only hours across our Worcestershire sites. This should help make people who need to come forward for a jab more comfortable to do so.

“It is never too late to get your first, second or booster dose and we welcome everyone to come forward, 8 weeks after their first dose for their second and 12 weeks after their second dose for the booster.”

You must wait 28 days after testing positive for Covid-19 before you can receive your next dose.

Children are advised to wait 12 weeks after a positive test result.
