PLANS for new homes on a former industrial site in Cradley Heath have been announced.
Keon Homes has submitted plans for 34 homes on land at the junction of Woods Lane and Cradley Road to Sandwell Council.
The 0.7 hectare site is brownfield land which is currently home to former industrial buildings.
If plans get the go-ahead it will be transformed into a housing estate.

A design and access statement, submitted to Sandwell Council, states: "This development proposes to demolish all existing industrial buildings on the site, freeing up the land for a new-build development of family homes, providing a range of 1, 2 and 3-bed units
"The development will regenerate a vacant brownfield site to a residential use that is in accordance with the area masterplan and will fit well with the surrounding developments."
The statement goes on to say the site "comprises a recently closed car scrapyard and other vacant industrial buildings."
It states to the north of the site there is a railway track which is shielded by trees.
The application states that: "The ongoing works will see the area transform from a neglected brownfield site to a thriving community with new residential development, public space and local amenities."
The application will be considered by planners.
