IT'S set to be a Bostin' Burns Night for Black Country folk thanks to local institution Mad O'Rourke's Pie Factory, which has introduced a Haggis Pie onto its menu for the first time ever.
But diners will have to be quick, as it's available to order for one week only.
Featuring a traditional Scottish haggis smothered in a sauce of shallots, Worcestershire sauce, whisky and cream, and topped with a pastry lid, Mad O'Rourke's owner Peter Towler said he expects them to fly out.
He said: "We're always looking to do something new with our pies, and this seemed like the perfect fit for a cold January evening.
"Our Pies by Post service has been very popular in Scotland, with lots of ex-Black Country folk hankering for a taste of home, so we thought we'd return the favour and give Scots living locally our own spin on their traditional national dish on Burns Night.
"People can sometimes be a bit squeamish at the thought of haggis - in the same way some people can about the Black Country culinary institution of faggots - but they really should give the Haggis Pie a go, I'm convinced they'll love it."
