BUDDING entrepreneurs can sell their wares at markets in Halesowen for free thanks to a scheme designed to help new businesses.

Halesowen BID is hosting two start-up markets in Halesowen Town Centre on Saturday February 26 and Saturday March 26.

The markets offer free stalls to new businesses to help them get their feet off the ground as well as giving a boost to local high streets.

BID manager Vicky Rogers said: "The market offers free stalls to new and developing businesses, perhaps someone that has set up during lockdown and is looking to take the next step.

"They are being funded by European Regional Development Fund's (ERDF) Welcome Back Fund to encourage people back to the High Street at the same time as offering a fantastic opportunity to budding entrepreneurs.

"We have already seen a lot of interest and have limited stalls available.

"If anyone would like to apply for a stall they should email info@halesowenbid.co.uk or bescot.p@hotmail.co.uk"

The markets will run from 10am till 3pm.
