ARMED robbers targeted a Blackheath jewellers at the weekend
Two masked men stormed into S & N Hodgkins jewellers on High Street, Blackheath at around 12.15pm on Saturday (May 7).
One of the men started hitting cabinets with a bar.
The men fled empty handed after the alarm was raised.
Thankfully no-one was hurt in the shocking incident.
Police have appealed for anyone with information to get in touch.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We were called following an attempted robbery at a jewellers in High Street.
"Two masked men entered the shop and one started to hit cabinets with a bar.
"The alarm was raised before they could steal anything and the men drove off.
"Thankfully no-one was physically injured.
