THESE pictures show inside the huge new B&M store and garden centre which is opening in Oldbury this week.
The new store at Birchley Retail Park, on Wolverhampton Road near the M5, opens tomorrow (Wednesday May 11) at 9am.
We visited the store today to get a glimpse of the bargains customers of the store, which also boasts a garden centre, can enjoy.
The discount retailer has transformed the former Toys ‘r’ Us store with the new shop creating 55 jobs for local people.
The new store also boasts a 5,384 square foot garden centre, selling hundreds of plants and gardening essentials.
Customers can also pick up food, drink, pet food, healthy and beauty products, homeware, electricals, DIY, toys and gifts.
The store manager said: “Our colleagues have been working really hard to get the store ready for opening day, we can’t wait to get the doors open and show customers their brand new B&M store.”
The new store is part of a huge retail park project in Oldbury.
An existing McDonald's remains open as part of the scheme.
There are another two units - one either side of the new B&M store - available for occupation. One has been earmarked for leisure use.
A new Tim Hortons drive thru restaurant on the retail park is also set to open soon.
An area of the car park has been let to the EV Network where 12 new EV charging points are to be installed.
