POLICE recovered a stolen Range Rover after the driver went off-road to escape officers in Halesowen.
Dudley Town Police posted about the incident on Twitter today (Sunday, May 22).
Officers spotted the 4x4 on patrol in Halesowen – which had only just been stolen minutes before.
Officers pursued the car until it went offroad.
They later found the car abandoned and have since returned it to its owner.
Officers urged people to use extra security on keyless vehicles.
On patrol in Halesowen we saw this vehicle which had just been stolen minutes before. We pursued the vehicle until the driver went off road to escape. On Twitter, Dudley Town Police posted: “On patrol in Halesowen we saw this vehicle which had just been stolen minutes before.
“We pursued the vehicle until the driver went offroad to escape.
“We located the car abandoned and it has now been returned to the owner.
