Oldbury man handed community order after assault charge
AN Oldbury man has been handed a community order after admitting an assault charge.
Rhio Stewart, aged 22, of Campbell Bannerman Way, pleaded guilty to assault by beating after an incident in Walsall on August 23, 2021.
Magistrates handed him a community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement and a requirement to carry out unpaid work for 80 hours over the next 12 months.
He was also ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £95 and to pay costs of £250 to the Crown Prosecution Service when sentenced at Walsall Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday May 25.
