A FUN activity weekend at The Laurels, Cradley, is among a raft of celebrations taking place this weekend to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Sue Greenaway, will open the event at the Windmill Hill venue at 2pm today (Friday).
There’ll be fairground rides, a hog roast, Bhangra dancing and performances by Stourbridge Dance Academy and the Cradley Grand Open Sumo Wrestling Competition, with the fun taking place from 2pm to 6pm today (Friday June 3) and Saturday June 4.
On Saturday evening there’ll be a performance by Jerry and The Hat-Tricks and, as part of the celebrations, there’ll be an additional performance by a Gary Barlow tribute act on the Sunday afternoon (June 5).
The Queensway Centre in Halesowen has also been hosting a week of Jubilee Celebrations which kicked off with an indoor 'street party'.
Volunteers and customers dressed to impress, enjoyed food, music and games from the 1950s.
See our interative list below of all street parties taking place across the Dudley borough.
