AN Oldbury man has been hit with a court bill for £575 after admitting driving without insurance.
Kevin Samuels, aged 26, of Springfield Road, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle, a Hyundai, on the M5 at junction 2 without third party insurance when stopped by police on May 6.
He was fined £400 and ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £40 and costs of £135 to the Crown Prosecution Service when sentenced at Dudley Magistrates’ Court earlier today (Monday June 27).
His driving record was also endorsed with six penalty points.
