THREE men were hurt in an early-morning crash in Oldbury.

The two-car crash happened in New Birmingham Road, near the junction with Tower Road, at around 6.15am this morning (Tuesday, June 28).

Paramedics treated two men injured in the collision and took them to Sandwell General Hospital.

Their injuries were not thought to be serious, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.

A third man was treated for minor injuries before being discharged at the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called to reports of a two-car RTC on Birmingham New Road at 6.15am.

"Two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene.

"On arrival we discovered three male patients.

"Two of whom received treatment for injuries not believed to be serious before being taken to Sandwell Hospital for further assessment.

"The third man was assessed and treated for minor injuries and discharged at the scene."
