PRESENTER Alison Hammond has appeared on TV with James Corden wearing a Halesowen fashion designer's dress.

The popular This Morning presenter interviewed James Corden whilst wearing a dress designed and made by Paul Burbridge, who runs Burbo K'ture in Halesowen town centre.

Paul was thrilled to see his design on the TV and even more chuffed when Alison gave him a shout out when promoting the interview - all on his birthday yesterday (Tuesday June 28).

He said: "The lovely Alison Hammond interviewed James Corden on ITV this morning wearing Burbo K'ture.

"Thank you so much Alison for supporting my little label.

"It was a birthday treat to see my dress on national TV."

Alison popped into Paul's shop at 3, Hagley Road, on Saturday (June 25) and bought some of his handmade pieces.

Paul, who turned 52 yesterday, said: "Alison lives in Solihull and she's a friend of a friend, so when I saw her in Halesowen (she was visiting relatives) I went over to introduce myself and she wanted to see my work.

"She bought two pieces and we discussed me making some made to order pieces for special occasions.

"Then I got the message on Monday that she'd worn one of the dresses for her interview with James Corden.

"Just looking forward so much to working with her again.

"She loves the designs and the fabrics and feels I really understand a woman's figure when designing.

"She gave me a shout out when promoting the interview and she's very keen to help promote small independent business."
