A NEW Halesowen ‘Banksy’ artwork has appeared in the town.

The spray-painted young bat girl was spotted by employees at Solutions4IT on Mucklow Hill when they turned up for work this morning (Monday July 18).

It is the latest in a series of mysterious artworks spotted at several locations in Halesowen and the surrounding area over recent months, believed to created by the same artist.

Halesowen News:

Tony Woodhouse, service delivery manager, at Solutions4IT, said the artwork was not there when staff left on Friday.

He said: "It's quite interesting.

"I quite like it."

The firm, an IT service provider, employs 12 staff at its site, called Forge House.

The elusive artist, who some say is called Disney, spray-painted the legendary martial arts master Bruce Lee at MAC Black Belt Academy on Hereward Rise.

There is also a young boy on Ivy Street, a boy on the M5 bridge in Quinton and a boy boxer at Benjamin’s in Birmingham Street as well as an astronaut carrying a Tesco bag at Group Gear Ltd on Bromsgrove Road.
