A LOW cost gym chain is set to open a new site on the former ToysRUs retail park in Oldbury.
JD Gyms is taking over a unit next to B&M on the Birchley Retail Park, on Wolverhampton Road, near the M5.
It has applied to Sandwell Council to install a new mezzanine floor.
Notes to planners state: "JD Gyms is taking occupation of the vacant unit and intends to commence its operations shortly."
Council planners said the floor could be installed and did not require planning permission.
The new B&M store, which boasts a garden centre, opened in May.
The JD Gyms unit is to the left of B&M - there is another empty unit to the right of it.
A new Tim Hortons drive thru has also opened on the retail park.
