POLICE and medics were called to Halesowen following "concerns for the welfare of a man."
They were called to help the man in Fairfield Road in Hurst Green at 2.33am on Saturday (July 30).
He was taken to hospital.
There had been reports on social media that an ambulance had been spotted on the car park of the Fairfield pub, which is in the road.
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called by the police following concerns for the welfare of a man on Fairfield Road, Hurst Green, Halesowen at 2.33am.
"One ambulance attended and conveyed the man to hospital for further care."
