A HALESOWEN hairdresser has made it through to the national finals of a prestigious competition.
Helen Tether, who owns Helen Tether's Award-Winning Hair on Gorsty Hill, has been announced as one of the finalists of the Wella Professionals TrendVision Award 2022.
The final will take place on Monday October 3 at Magazine London, on London’s iconic Greenwich Peninsula.
Mum-of-one Helen said she was delighted to make it through to the final.
She said: “I am absolutely over the moon!
"After the two years we’ve had this is what I needed, a spot in the finals always boosts business!
"I love competitions, and having a final to plan towards always keeps me motivated to do the best I can.”
Wella’s Head of Craft & Community, Allison Hargreaves, said: “To reach the final of this incredibly prestigious award is an immense achievement.
"This is a tough competition, and the standard of work is high.
"The elite list of finalists have demonstrated that they are exceptionally skilled and talented, and I wish them all great luck on the night.”
Eight hundred industry experts will gather for the awards ceremony.
