ARMED police were called after a man caused panic by brandishing a fake gun in Smethwick.
The man was arrested and charged with causing fear of violence today (Monday August 8).
British Transport Police tweeted a picture of the fake firearm and said: "Despite the poor spray paint job it was enough to cause people to panic."
"One arrested & charged for causing fear of violence with imitation firearms in Smethwick
"No one was hurt and we caught the male, making the arrest with our @BTPFirearmsUnit #OneInCustody."
