DOZENS of drivers were slapped with speeding tickets after checks were carried out by police in Halesowen on the weekend.
Officers conducted the checks around the Mucklow Hill, Long Lane, Lansdowne Road and Narrow Lane areas of Halesowen on Sunday (August 28).
This followed concerns raised by Halesowen residents.
A total of 38 tickets and a court summons were handed out to drivers.
On Sunday, Halesowen Police tweeted: “Following concerns from residents, speed checks were conducted today around Mucklow Hill, Long Lane, Lansdowne Road and Narrow Lane.
“A total of 38 tickets and a court summons are in the post and on their way to offending drivers #YouSaidWeDid”.
