A new independent-run cafe has opened in Halesowen.
Coffee@Cogs at 183, Spies Lane is owned and run by Steven Dix, who is a member of Halesowen triathlon club.
The bike-themed coffee shop, which also serves home-made cakes, opened around four weeks ago.
Former self-employed builder and father-of-three Steven opened the coffee shop as he was finding the building trade harder as he advanced in years.
He said: "I needed a change of pace as I'm not 20 anymore!
"It's going great so far.
"I really want it to be a community hub where people can come to get together.
"It is cycle-themed but everyone is welcome."
The 44-year-old converted the former laundrette himself over four months, with work starting in July.
All cakes served are home-baked by Stourbridge-based Cake Your Way.
The coffee is from Iron & Fire, based in Shrewsbury.
Coffee@Cogs is open from 8am till 5pm weekdays and from 9am till 4pm on weekends.
