CROWDS turned out to pay their respects to fallen servicemen at an annual service of Remembrance at Shell Corner, Halesowen.
Held on the evening of Friday November 11, it was the fifth year that the event has taken place since the shell was returned in 2018.
Councillor Stuart Henley invited locals, businesses and groups to attend the event, which began at 7pm.
A number of local businesses bought wreaths to lay at the shell in Remembrance of armed forces heroes killed in combat and wooden crosses were available for people to lay for a small donation.
Cllr Henley said: “We had a great turnout for the fifth Remembrance event held at the shell.
“I wish to thank all that helped make this possible and turned out to remember.”
He said more than £600 was raised for the Poppy Appeal from wreath sales bought by local businesses and residents.
Mayor of Dudley Councillor Sue Greenaway and Halesowen and Rowley Regis MP James Morris were among those who laid a wreath at the event.
