A LAW firm is offering people in Stourbridge and Quinton a free will writing service to help boost legacy donations for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

The charity, which covers six Midlands counties including Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, the West Midlands, and Worcestershire, has responded to almost 70,000 missions since its launch in 1991 and it's one of the busiest air ambulance services in the UK.

Charity bosses say four in ten of its missions are funded through gifts left in wills by generous pledgers.

GloverPriest Solicitors is now one of 14 firms of solicitors supporting Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s free will writing service which raises awareness of how vital legacy donations are and the significant role they play in making lifesaving missions possible for the rapid response pre-hospital service.

GloverPriest's branches in Stourbridge and Quinton are among those offering the scheme.

Emma Wood, head of fundraising and marketing for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: "Around 40 per cent of all our missions are funded through the legacies we receive from those who have thoughtfully remembered our charity in their will.

"People in the West Midlands who are considering writing or updating their will can now do this completely free of charge with the team at GloverPriest Solicitors in partnership with Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

"Anyone who leaves a gift to our charity will be making daily lifesaving missions possible in their local area as part of their legacy."

Sophie Donovan, solicitor and director, at GloverPriest, added: "GloverPriest is proud to support such a fantastic charity, one that offers lifesaving services to those in their time of need. Midlands Air Ambulance Charity could not offer this vital service without the kind donations people make through their wills.

“We are happy to be supporting Midlands Air Ambulance Charity by now offering their free will writing scheme.”
