MOTORISTS are being warned to expect congestion after temporary traffic lights went up on a busy Halesowen road for urgent repairs to a water leak.
South Staffordshire Water started work to repair the leak on Mucklow Hill yesterday (Tuesday January 17), with work expected to carry on until Friday (January 20).
Workmen are approximately 150 metres before the island junction of Halesowen Road, Kent Road, and Long Lane.
A spokesman for Dudley Council said: "Traffic is being controlled by two-way signals, which are being manually controlled from 7am till 7pm, however due to the proximity to this island, congestion is increased in the area."
