FORMER Halesowen College drama student Nic Lawton returned to perform a show with her theatre company.
Artistic Directors Nic and Ezre Holland formed Expial Atrocious and came back to Halesowen College to perform `Butchered’ to drama students.
They performed the show at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival, receiving rave reviews and now it is on a UK tour.
Nic studied performing arts at Halesowen College before completing an Integrated Masters in Touring Theatre at the University of Worcester.
The play is about two people stuck in a job and dreaming of something different with social and political messages.
Nic said: “I wouldn’t be where I am today without the incredible support, resources and drama staff at Halesowen College.”
Ross Nicholls, Course Leader for A Level Drama at Halesowen College, said: “Nic was an amazing student, hard working and passionate and it’s great to see her being so successful.
"We all wish her well in her wonderful career.”
