POLICE have urged Ford motor car owners to add extra security measures to help keep them safe from thieves after a Fiesta was stolen in Rowley Regis.
Traffic cops from West Midlands Police took to Twitter to issue the warning after an incident in which a cloned car was pursued through the streets.
On their WMP Traffic Twitter account @Trafficwmp, officers said four occupants of the Ford Fiesta were arrested after the chase which saw Central Motorway Police Group and The National Police Air Service drafted in to help.
They added: “If you own a Ford please consider adding extra security devices as all models are targeted in thefts.”
