OFFICERS in Halesowen carried out a weapons sweep and found a knife in bushes near a children's play area.
It was found in Homer Hill Park in Halesowen earlier today (Thursday, March 2).

In a tweet, Halesowen Police said: "Officers from Halesowen NHT have today carried out a weapons sweep around Homer Hill Park where we found a knife in the bushes close to the play area.
"Another knife off the street".
