A CAR set on fire in rush hour traffic in Romsley today.
The incident happened on Bromsgrove Road at around 8.14am this morning (Tuesday March 21).
Firefighters from Bromsgrove attended and put out the fire.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: “The crew monitored the vehicle for hotspots using a thermal image camera and dampened down the area.
“The vehicle was made safe and the owner arranged recovery."
Firefighters left the scene around 10am. No-one was hurt.
The cause of the fire is not known.
