THERE will be a string of new temporary traffic lights in Halesowen this week as utility companies and the council carry out works.

There will be temporary traffic lights on Fairfield Road, Hurst Green, at the junction with Nimmings Road from today (Monday March 27) until Wednesday (March 29) while Dudley Council patches up the road.

The lights will operate from 8am till 4pm each day.

There will also be temporary traffic lights in Cherry Street, Halesowen, while Cadent Gas works in the footpath and road from the junction with Attwood Street to Beach Drive/Beach Street.

They will be in place from today (Monday March 27) until tomorrow (Tuesday March 28) while the firm lays a new gas main.

There will be temporary traffic lights on Colley Gate/Colman Hill in Cradley tomorrow (Tuesday March 28) and Wednesday (March 29) while Dudley Council carries out work to maintain cameras.

Work will be carried out on the A458 Colley Gate outside the Nisa Local and near the junction with Maple Tree Lane and Colemans Hill and Drews Holloway They will operate from 8pm till 6am.

There will be a lane closure on Manor Way, Halesowen, heading towards Grange Road island from tomorrow (Tuesday March 28) until Monday April 3.

The closure will be in place to allow Dudley Council to replace a safety barrier.

There will be another closure on Manor Way, Halesowen, in the right-hand lane of the dual carriageway just past the entrance to Sandvik on Friday (March 31) while Severn Trent carries out repairs and maintenance. The lane closure will be in place from 8pm until midnight.
