HUNDREDS of patriotic Halesowen residents attended a street party to celebrate King Charles III's Coronation.
People living in Carol Crescent got together to celebrate the crowning of the country's new monarch.
They staged a raffle with over 50 prizes donated from residents and businesses and there was also a second hand book and toy stall.
Resident Louise Bowen said around 300 people attended.
She added: "We had a competitions for decorating a cupcake, decorating wooden spoons as king and queen, a coronation poem and the best dressed house.
"The ice cream man had a queue for an hour and a half.
"Two ladies have lived here all their lives, but a gentleman heard about our party and came to spend some time in the place where he spent the last Coronation and he met up with people he had spent time with when he was five years old.
"We have raised around £700 for charity."
Louise said it was the third time the patriotic street had been able to use its 1.5km of hand-made bunting.
