A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after a two car crash in Halesowen.

At around 9.50am paramedics were called to a crash involving two cars at the junction of A458 and Mucklow Hill.

One woman was treated by paramedics for injuries before being taken to Russel's Hall Hospital for further treatment.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "At around 9.50 am, we were called to reports of an RTC at the junction of the A458 and Mucklow Hill in Halesowen.

"An ambulance and paramedic officer were sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews discovered two cars had been involved in a collision.

"There was one patient, a woman, requiring assessment.

"Ambulance staff treated the woman for injuries not believed to be serious before conveying her to Russells Hall Hospital for further treatment.

"There were no other patients requiring medical assistance."
