TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of arson over the devastating fire at the iconic Crooked House pub in Himley.

South Staffordshire Police have confirmed a 66-year-old man, from Dudley, and a 33-year-old man, from Milton Keynes, have been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.

They remain in custody today (August 24) and are being questioned by officers while the investigation continues.

The pub, near Dudley, was heavily damaged by a fire on Saturday, August 5 and was demolished by a mechanical digger on Monday, August 7.
