Bad parkers in Halesowen have been publicly shamed by police who warn people will be fined.
Officers from the Halesowen policing team shared a picture of two cars parked across a footpath and blocking access for pedestrians.
Police warned that those parked on the footpaths would receive a fixed penalty notice (Image: West Midlands Police)
They posted: “More examples of bad parking around Halesowen. Please note that if you park your vehicle in this manner, blocking the footpath, then you will be receiving a fixed penalty notice.”
The police added that all pathways should have enough space for a wheelchair, a children’s pushchair or a blind person with an assistance dog to get by and all unnecessary obstructions would lead to a fine.
