A CAR which was stolen in Halesowen was found on false plates in Lye.
Officers from Dudley Town police spotted the Renault when they were in Lye yesterday (Tuesday October 24).
They discovered it was on false plates and had been stolen from Halesowen.
Dudley Town Police tweeted: "Officers were completing enquiries in the Lye area today and this car attracted our attention.
"Checks revealed it was on false plates, and in fact stolen from Halesowen.
"1 car recovered for forensics, 1 pleased owner informed we located her car."
There were no arrests as the car was parked and unattended.
