JAMES Morris MP has joined calls for incontinence bins in men’s toilets to help prostate cancer sufferers.
He's backing the Dispose with Dignity campaign calling for regulatory changes to make the provision of incontinence bins in men's public toilets obligatory.
He attended a drop-in event in Parliament which coincided with the week of International Men’s Day, on 19th November, which shines a spotlight on the physical and mental health challenges faced by men.
James said: “Around 1 in 8 men in the UK are likely to suffer from prostate cancer, and those who suffer incontinence as a result of their treatment should be able to use a public bathroom with confidence and dignity.
“A constituent who has had prostate cancer raised this issue with me and I wrote to both local authorities in Halesowen and Rowley Regis.
"I am pleased Dudley MBC have plans to role out male sanitary bins in all its public toilets.”
