POLICE have arrested two people after seizing guns and knives in Quinton.
A number of knives and gas-powered handguns, air rifles and decommissioned revolvers were recovered from a property in Bent Avenue.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We've arrested two people and seized a cache of weapons including knives and air guns from a Birmingham address.
“On Tuesday (28 November) we executed a warrant at an address on Bent Avenue, Quinton.
“A 22-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of possession of offensive weapons and possession of Class B controlled drugs.”
The two people have been bailed while the police investigation continues.
The seizure was part of Operation Target – a force effort to tackle serious and organised crime in the West Midlands.
