A BID to flatten a Halesowen house which is a "complete mess" and build a block of eight apartments on the land has gone in to the council.
The application to demolish 85, Nimmings Road, has been submitted to Dudley Council.

The plan states that a block of eight one-bedroom flats would be built on the site, with ten parking spaces.
A resident of Olive Drive submitted a letter of support saying: "I think it is an amazing idea as it looks a complete mess now and would be interested in buying one for my eldest child."

In May 2023 a plan for the same site which would have seen the construction of two bungalows and three, three-storey houses, was rejected after planners decided it would be ‘unjustified garden-grabbing’.

The new plan, in the Halesowen North ward, if approved, would feature a communal garden.
Plans show each flat has a bathroom and a kitchen diner.
The application was submitted on February 21.
