A SCRAP man who didn't have a valid licence or insurance had his van seized in Halesowen.
West Midlands Police traffic officers who are on patrol in the town today (Monday March 4) stopped the vehicle.
The driver was collecting scrap, but now has no vehicle.
Police put out an appeal for drivers to make sure they have insurance, or risk having their vehicles seized.
They tweeted: "Officers are out and about in the Halesowen area.
"This vehicle was collecting scrap but the driver didn't have a valid licence or insurance.
"Driver reported and vehicle seized.#DriveInsured."
