A PERSON has been found dead in Rowley Regis, prompting police to close off a street.
Robin Close off Harvest Road in Rowley Regis has been closed after paramedics were called there earlier today and found a female who was confirmed dead at the scene.
There is a police presence on the cul-de-sac tonight (Monday March 4) and a unicorn soft toy has been attached to railings near the police cordon.
West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed a female was found dead at an address earlier today.
A spokesperson said: "We were called just after 12pm to an incident at a private address in Rowley Regis.
"Two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene.
"Upon arrival we found one patient.
"Unfortunately, it was clear that nothing could be done to save her and she was confirmed deceased by ambulance staff at the scene."
West Midlands Police have been contacted for comment.
