A WOMAN has been charged with robbery and shoplifting after two incidents in Sandwell.
Hundreds of pounds of items were of items were stolen from a health and beauty store on Bearwood Road on March 2 and two days later, on March 4, cash was stolen from a woman’s handbag on Adkins Lane, Smethwick.
Anisha Shoker, aged 30, of no fixed abode, has since been charged with robbery and shoplifting and she is due to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on April 4.
West Midlands Police says reducing robbery is a priority for the force and Operation Ruby aims to help tackle this.
