A driver has been arrested after police intercepted a car reportedly involved in fuel thefts.
West Midlands Police said they spotted the silver VW Golf in Quinton yesterday (Friday, April 12).
Officers used preemptive tactics to stop the vehicle safely and prevented the driver from escaping.
Police said the car has reportedly been involved in fuel thefts and after searching the vehicle, officers also found CS spray in the drivers door pocket.
A spokesperson for the West Midlands Police Traffic Unit said: “In Quinton we saw this silver VW golf and used preemptive tactics to stop it safely and prevent the drivers escape.
“It had been reportedly involved in fuel thefts. Upon searching the vehicle we found CS spray in the drivers door pocket. Off to custody.”
