A DELICIOUS event has been declared a success after drawing the crowds to a Herefordshire pub.

Kington Marmalade Competition organisers are 'delighted' with the number of entries received at the inaugural event.

Sixty jars were judged by Jane Maggs during the competition held at The Barn in the Oxford Arms, Kington on Saturday.

A variety of mouth-watering flavours were entered and visitors also enjoyed tasting marmalades and a colouring competition was also held for children.

The popular event was held during National Marmalade Week.
