STAR Wars will be taking over Halesowen town centre next month, with fun for all the family on offer.
There will be Star Wars characters thanks to Kopykatz Cosplay, face painting and sweet treats at the event on Saturday May 4.
The Star Wars day will run from 10am till 2pm.
Children will be invited to dress up as Star Wars characters for a fancy dress competition.
Ellie Hunt, of Halesowen BID said: "We are excited to be hosting this new event for the town, which will offer a day of fun for all ages.
"Star Wars has such a big following, so we look forward to celebrating ‘May the Fourth’ with local fans, and fans from far far away."
Star Wars Day is a commemorative day observed annually on May 4 to celebrate the Star Wars franchise created by filmmaker George Lucas, which began in 1977.
