STAR Wars took over Halesowen town centre at the weekend, with scores of fans making the trip into town.
There were Star Wars characters around the town thanks to Kopykatz Cosplay, as well as face painting and a fancy dress competition for children on Saturday May 4.
There were even Star Wars-themed cupcakes on offer from Halesowen's Cupcake Daze.
Organiser Ellie Hunt, of Halesowen BID, said: "It was a fantastic day for Halesowen!
"The sun was shining, it was busy, and everyone had a smile on their face.
"It was so good to see.
"The day also included a march around the town with Kopykatz Coplayers, which attracted lots of fans."
Star Wars Day is a commemorative day observed annually on May 4 to celebrate the Star Wars franchise created by filmmaker George Lucas, which began in 1977.
The event is now set to become an annual occurrence in Halesowen.
Ellie said: "We know next year will be even bigger, and even better with more businesses involved in celebrating Star Wars day."
