AN EMPTY shop unit in Oldbury will be converted into a seven bedroom HMO after planners gave the application the thumbs up.
The property at 168, Birmingham Road, will be turned into a large HMO.
An application from Mr Qasid Khan was approved by Sandwell Council on May 31.
Plans show two bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, a communal kitchen, and a communal lounge/dining room on the ground floor.
On the first-floor there will be five bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms.
The proposal states there are four parking spaces at the rear of the property.
Notes by planners approving the application state that: "Once provided, the communal kitchen/lounge/dining areas shall be retained for the lifetime of the development to ensure sufficient facilities."
