TWO teenagers remain in custody today (Monday September 2) on suspicion of the murder of a 13-year-old boy who was stabbed to death in Oldbury.
The teenage boy was treated by paramedics, who rushed to a property in Oldbury on Thursday August 29 but despite their best efforts he could not be saved.
A man in his 40s was also arrested yesterday (Sunday September 1) on suspicion of assisting an offender, and also remains in custody.
The family of the young boy who died are being supported by officers, West Midlands Police said.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We have a team of detectives investigating exactly what happened during this tragic incident, and our appeal for witnesses continues.
“We have been carrying out CCTV enquiries in the area, but also need to hear from anyone with dash cam, doorbell, CCTV or phone footage that might help the investigation.”
