A CANNABIS factory has been raided by police acting on a tip-off in Wordsley.
Police executed a warrant on a property in Sandfield Road yesterday (Monday September 30).
They found 100 cannabis plants in the bedroom and loft of the address as well as growing equipment and shut down the operation.
A spokesperson for Dudley Police said: "Acting on intelligence, officers from the Brierley Hill Neighbourhood Team raided a property on Sandfield Road."
They added: "The electricity meter had also been bypassed to power the grow.
"No one was present in the property at the time, and anyone who has any information is asked to contact us via Live Chat or call 101 quoting 20/865565/24.
"We continue to carry out warrants and build intelligence on cannabis growing as well as securing closure orders against properties where crime and anti-social behaviour happens."
Anyone concerned this kind of activity is happening near where they live, can call police on 101.
